9/27/2007 26/9/2007--->de shopping + 2nd surprise Woke up at around 1 something in the afternoon, coz slept too late after the party...Yeah, talked to my best buddy, nioko on the phone for bout half an hour b4 i slept. Thanks for calling, i tot u forgot my birthday dy =) haha of coz u won't rite?
Yeah i started attacking all de leftover food once i woke up coz too hungry dy...hahaha...i just couldn't stop eating, u noe?especially on my birthday =p
At about 3pm, we (me, ivie n roumin) left home for Cheltenham DFO. And guess what, when we passed by a shop called '1 2 juice' (is actually something like Boost), i noticed one sign board saying 'IT IS UR BIRTHDAY, SHOW UR ID AND GET A FREE SMALL DRINK' Woah no wonder ppl say birthday boy or girl brings luck...haha got a nice drink free of charge YEAH!!!
Continued shopping and spent 45 bucks on three nice nice T shirts hehe so happy...Saw double rainbow when we came out of DFO, of coz it is picture time again wahaha...
Both ivie and roumin said they would go out at night when we reached home, i was a bit puzzled and a bit sad la (abit only) coz that means i would be home alone for my birthday. At about 8 o'clock, roumin's frens arrived and she went out. Few minutes past and i heard the doorbell ( i was frying brocolli by then) ivie opened de door and to my surprise, marcus, danny and roumin were standing outside with my beloved birthday cake. Marcus said it is the most chocolately cake he ever made wahahaha
Really thank you very much for planning the surprise for me, ivie, u can go and be an actor dy la, ur acting skills really super =)
Yeah, we had dinner together and ate the cake, really nicest cake ever, thank you so much to marcus =) We played lanterns and candles in our lawn after the meal. The moon is really rounder on 16th 'quoted from roumin'
My 20 year-old-birthday is really the best one ever. Thanks for everyone who wished me by sms, friendster, msn and also phone call. I can sincerely feel all your blessings. Thank you very much and i wil make sure that i have a great year ahead =) Housewarming+Mooncake festival+my birthday PARTY Celebrated my happiest birthday ever, so thought i should share it out here =)
The party started at about 8 something, Grace was the first one to arrive with her pasta and lanterns. She is the greatest balloon blower ever wahahaha, well, she managed to make fren with my sis when i was frying the mihun.
More n more people came as it approached 9 pm (such a late party huh), but the barbecue was not set up yet. So all de hungry people started attacking at the mihun, fried rice, chris's chicken wings and also de desserts. We also started playing games-->Battle of the sexes, Heart attack, bluff and also mahjong. Great to see that everone was having fun. At first we were still worried that the guests would feel bored wahahaha
When the clock strike 12, ivie and adilah entered with two 'sparkling' cakes. That really surprised me, thanks alot for buying the cake, miss tan. Ps: she bought the cakes cause i was grumbling that i dun have cakes on the way back from buying the barbecue ingredients.
It was a really great party. It ended at around 2 as everyone started feeling exhausted (because of the games). Special thanks to chris and chau wang for helping us to do the barbecue, and also to those who help to clean up, and also to everyone who have a great deal of fun in the party. 9/22/2007 =) Few days more i will turn 20...erm thinking what have i achieved in my first 20 years of life...
I guess i spent my first 10 years of life crying most of the time gua, coz i am well known as the 'crying baby'.And also eating...Food is always at the top of my mind~~Erm also quarrel and fighting with my sister ba and crying everytime after i lose to her in our 'battle'...At that time, my happiest time would be with my cousins, especially during chinese new years...Playing games and also singing new year songs were our best time spent together...Still remember how i always looking forward for chinese new year and seeing my dearest cousins =)
At about 11 or 12 years old, something strikes me to study harder and do better in exams. Started revising my school work everyday after school. Still remember that i actually joined my father's tuition class and do my work in one corner Really semangat LoL
At 13 years old, i entered SSI and gotta know my best fren ever. Actually, form 1 to form 3 was my best time ever in school. Though didn't participate actively in cocurriculum, spending time with a bunch of best frens was really fun and memorable. I guess i din even know what the word 'sad' means at that time.
At 16 years old, gotta know an 'important' person better and my life was changed. Those time was happy too, but life was abit complicated though. No longer as naive as i was...
Left home for study when i was 18. Life in Taylors was good as well, i learnt how to be independent and socialise with people from different background. Having a bunch of lovely housemates was a blessing to me. Still remember how we always end up having abdominal pain because of laughing too hard...
At 19, i left taylors for sunway college and started my life as a jpa scholar...Still remember how i live in fear of not being able to come to Australia. Thanks to ms ruma who always gives us pressure, but is also because of her that i strive harder in my studies.
And now, i am having my spring holidays in Australia, typing my new entry of blog...Lived here for bout 7 months dy gua, havent seen most of Melbourne coz live too far from the city. I guess i enjoyed my life here.
I have learnt alot of things in my first 20 years. I learnt to fight for things i want and let go of things that i can't hold to as well. I have learnt how to take bus from Puduraya to JB every now and then. I learnt how to care for my sister and nag at my brother. Also thanks to someone that i start seeing the value of everything i have, i guess i become more matured...
Still not quite satisfied with what i am today. Still make silly mistakes like ruining my shirt in the washing machine, doing silly things and waking up too late til miss my early classes. Needs plenty of improvement LoL

It is quite fun to learn anatomy on cadaver though. Realize that cadaver actually doesn't really smell when u spend enough time with them.
Wonder wat will happen to my body when i die...If only i can bring my body with me =) |
